Our Story

I have always been interested in health and wellbeing. My journey in Aromatherapy began in 2017 when I started to learn about Essential Oils.

I became a qualified Aromatherapist last year, 2020. I now understand the power of Essential Oils. I understand the breakdown of constituents of each Essential Oil, (the science) and the clear categorization of hazards and risks particularly in their therapeutic use. 

Our sense of smell is more sensitive and immediate than any of our other senses, which is why aromas can be evocative. Chemicals in a scent can trigger physiological responses and affect our mental state. These combined effects enable aromatic oils to work holistically on mind, body, and spirit, bringing balance, healing, and an often profound sense of wellbeing.

Getting deeper into my Essential Oils studies I decided to open my own little business, RAGLAN BOTANICALS and share all my learning to help others . 

Important to note, for a major illness, there’s no substitute for modern medicine. Essential oils can assist you to take control of your daily health and manage many common ailments.

Essential Oils have wonderful properties that are calming, balancing, anxiety-reducing, uplifting, cleansing, and stimulating, all of which will help you to relax, unwind, and release stress, and provide an overall boost to your body.

Knowing the therapeutic benefits of Essential Oils I have created my own skincare products. What a gift! It was not only a satisfying experience to make my own products but it gave me the freedom to be creative with essential oils, carrier oils, waxes and butters. I understand that what I put on my skin is absorbed in my body. I have made a conscious choice to use skin-friendly, skin-safe products and mostly organic.

At RAGLAN BOTANICALS I choose the ingredients knowing exactly the benefits they bring into the skin. I have done research as part of my qualifications and it’s ongoing for each of my products. I am sourcing, as available, organic ingredients and Eco friendly packaging.
